 Thirumurugan is a superstar of TV as he does holds up his work as director, an actor and a producer. He satisfied the viewers of “Mettioli” even after the thousand episodes. In the same way Thirumurugan’s “Nadaswaram” echo’s with the hit in all houses.
There is no comparison for Thirumurugan for his type of family, relationship and sentiment stories. The specialty of Thirumurugan is that the characters still echo’s in our heart. At last he has landed at karaikudi for his shooting after a long search in various districts.
Numerous Nadaswaram stars gathered at a kalyana mandapam at karaikudi for a scene of acting. Thirumurugan left few minutes for the interview……
He said “the story of Nadaswaram made us nomads”, this story is being traveling almost all the places. Even we travel as it goes. Even though most of the schedules are in karaikudi, we have even stayed in Peraurani, Thirupulani for shooting”.
How could it be possible for you to choose the stars?
”The audience may get bored by seeing the same faces. Hence we searched faces that don’t know about cameras. We have chosen the new faces after a long search. We chose them based on the realistic acting”.
Is it true to say that making new faces to act is as such as getting Guinness Record?
”Ya it’s true. It is too difficult to make an inexperienced person to act. Before they could stand in front of camera, practice was given by Actor Nazar, Shanmugarajan and Anees to make them to get rid of fear. It is a bit easier task to handle them now.
Is there any idea to shift the location to city?
”This story is based upon a Nadaswaram player who lives all alone at karaikudi. Hence karaikudi suits the best. When there is change in the story we will move on to cities. I think that the truth should not be destroyed in the serial.
This serial is going to be as such as the movie “16Vayathiniley” that holds all the credit for being shooted Outdoors. This is the one and only serial shooted almost at outdoors and even the voice recording are done here” says Thirumurugan with pride.
When will you enter cinemas?
After “Mettioli” my two movies “Em Magan Muniyandi, Vilangiyal Moondram Aandu”has been a great hit... even though the script is ready I am yet as a horse rider riding in both the fields as director and producer of Nadaswaram. If I get a chance I will surely enter the silver screen” says –Thirumurugan and gets back to the shooting schedule.
