Rowdhran hunts and kills terrorist and anti social elements at night. He doubles as police officer in the morning and investigates his own murders. Even though Rowdhran’s senior officer suspects and guesses that Rowdhran is moonlighting as a killer, he can't prove it. During an emotional time, Rowdhran spills a word which makes it clear that he is not an orphan. The senior officer uses this opportunity to accuse Rowdhran.

The flash back tells us why Rowdhran showed off as orphan while he actually has parents. The rest of the story uncovers what Rowdhran does after he is dismissed from the police department. The climax goes on to reveal whether Rowdhran was able to fulfill his mission that demanded him to be secretive about his parents.
Parthiban plays the role of tried and tested police officer who takes revenge against his enemies. However, Parthiban has made his role memorable with his typical play with words. In this movie, he has ventured as a lyricist too. One of the songs starts as ‘Ikkudhe’ which is actually a sound, but Parthiban flaunts his flair for poetic songs in this song. However, the rest of the songs are average.
Poorna is Rowdhran’s lover, Mercy. She has beautifully done some scenes showing off love in eyes and fear in face.
Badri is the right rival for the hero and it is played by Malindh Soman.
Those who love typical Parthiban gestures will enjoy this movie.
