Director Lingusamy has not given us any big storyline. Its just that the hero Karthi falls in love with the heroine Tamannah when he visits Bangalore for job hunt. The hero is flattered by the beauty of the girl and he is surprised to see her in front of him asking him to take her off to Mumbai as she is not interested in the marriage proposal that was arranged by her parents. You can also imagine the same role of a dad to search for his daughter with his assistants.
Karthi is happy and begins the journey. They face many obstacles and as usual the hero fights for his girl. The car’s speed is okay. But the speed of the story is even more slow. The director takes the audience for a journey and finishes the movie.
Though its nice to see the unexpressed love of the hero till they reach the destination, it is at times irritating the audience. Karthi has still got the ‘Paruthiveeran’ touch in him. There are certain scenes that are interesting like the hero calling up his friends in the midnight and tells them about Tamannah, a drunkard blocking their way, a smart young man who asks for lift and the hero trying to somehow drop him down.
We also have a word for our fight master. The hero thrashes all the villains and we are certainly unable to believe or accept all this. Guess the director wanted the audience to applaud when the hero was beaten up with an iron rod by the villain but still manages to get up and fight back. This serious scene is taken up by audience as comedy as some pass comments and some are as usual irritated by the illogical story sequence.
We accept that the heroine is so beautiful. But the audience forget to admire her due to the storyline. The heroine boasts that she would find out things at just first sight. But she does not identify the hero’s love till the end. Very funny!
The villain Soman is so very powerful. But when he is beaten by the hero, the audience find no words to say. Karthi’s friends add on to the story dragging. Completely illogical to see the heroine changing the model of the car with her lipstick.
Yuvan’s muci scores good with ‘Adada mazhai’ and ‘Thuli thuli’. We also appreciate the entire technical team for their excellent work behind the screens. The story and direction scores miminum only.

Almost fifty percent of the movie was shot in a car. This is first of its kind in Tamil cinema. Director Lingusamy says it was difficult to shoot the scenes in the car. The cinematographer has shot the scenes of Karthi and Tamanna from another car that was driven close to the hero's car. There was an accident that took place between both these cars. Luckily the hero, heroine and the people shooting them from the other car escaped. They have used 6 cameras to shoot the car chasing scenes in the movie.
'Adada Mazhada' song was shot at Kerala with a minus three degree temperature while the hero and the heroine were dancing in the rain scene. The heroine fell sick for a week.
The movie moves around travel scenes and so director claims to have taken 4 months to fix up locations for the shots. The hero is happy that after wearing dirty clothes for his first two movies, this movie gave him an opportunity to come out with smart costumes.
Tamannah is worth appreciations for her commitment towards delivering bigger dialogues in a single shot. She insisted assistant directors to teach her the dialogues in Tamil than that of explaining them in English.
The director recollects that the music director Yuvan stood up to applaud the 'Thuli thuli' song's creative shooting.
