Three songs in Ilaya Raja’s music

‘Kudhikkira kudhikkira kudhirai kutty’ song by J. Francis Kriba has been sung by Ilaya Raja. He has changed his voice to reflect the heart and soul of an innocent character. The music for the song pulls us towards the song even before the lyrics start.

Snehan’s ‘Adiye ivale’ song is a usual village festival song that we hear in movies with village subject. However, the song is full of soul, thanks to Ilaya Raja’s music. Thanjai Selvi debuted her first song in ‘Eesan’ and her song was the popular ‘Jillavittu jilla vandha’. Now, Selvi is lucky to get her second song by Ilaya Raja. We can see the change and maturity in her voice for the song. We should really appreciate her for her job on the song. Snehan has also sung a few lines in the song.

Yuga Bharathi’s ‘Poova kelu’ is a duet.

All in all, Alagar Samiyin Kudhirai is a musical treat. The entire album has been completely taken over by Ilaya Raja. We really missed J. Francis Kriba’s poetic lines and Yuga Bharathi’s touch which reveal poetry when you read between the lines.
