Lyrics writer Yugabharathi has shaped well the “Sada Sada yena azhai konjam” lyrics. But the sad part is both Kabilan and Yugabharathi have lost considerable amount of zeal and hard work they have shown when they penned lyrics in the early part of their carrier. They have given credence to dance rather than music in ‘ Stop stop’ song sung by Benny Dayal. Viveka has improved a lot. ‘Vinnai kappan oruvan’ is a typical Vijay song, but music director Vidyasagar has done fast beats for the song instead of presenting as usual kuthu song. Lyrics writer Pa. Vijay has written lyrics for this song. ”yarathu yaruthu” lyrics penned by Yugabharathi sounds as a nice love melody, it will certainly impress the love hearts. On the whole, if you expect more from Vidyasagar, you will be disappointed. But songs in the film are different from usual Vijay’s lip movement songs. |

The song which starts with a butterfly’s hymn is unexpected and it creates lot of expectations with us that this would be a different and unheard stuff. But our hopes will vanish soon as the tunes and the lyrics are just normal things which we heard in other songs too. Certain specific lyrics of Kabilan like” Thinam earum Thangathin vilai neeye” will stand for its quality and uniqueness.
