‘Thagadu thatham’ song in a jovial mood preaches philosophy like ‘Alwarpettai Andava’ song. Devi Sriprasad has sung ‘Manmadan ambu’ song. The song is an interesting addition to the comedy film. ‘nee neelavanam’ song is a love melody soaked in sad emotions. Periyazhwar’s Thirupallandu lines heard in between this song gives us a new experience of old tradition cushioned in modern trend. The voice heard in ‘who is the hero?’ reflects the emotions and feelings of a charged up girl. They have avoided the usual fast beats in ‘Oyyale’ Kuthu song and replaced it with mild tunes. Previous experiences of Devi Sriprasad has helped a lot in composing this song. Viveka has naughtily remarked the phrase’ My patriotism is immeasurable’ in this song. But our brains will only imagine, how Trisha could have danced for the song? The poetic conversation between Kamal and Trisha in the film is indeed a new experience for the viewers. The lines of the poem has lot of Guts and maturity in it. Not only that, it has some beautiful kidding. So, Overall experience of these songs will be enjoyable. |

Kamal Hassan has written five songs in the film ‘Manmadan Ambu’. Viveka has written ‘Oyyale’ song alone. Music of the film is composed by Devi Sriprasad.
