The latest trend in Tamil cinema is choosing animal nouns as titles. Starting from Singam Puli, even Naaigal has been chosen as title. Tamil Nadu kids usually hear the crow and fox story as their first story. Sri Balaji has chosen fox title for his debuting movie. He worked as assistant director for Suseendran.

Love is the main subject in the movie, but equal importance is given to comedy too. Vishnu and Ramya Nambeesan are playing lead roles in this movie. The team which made ‘Vennila Kabadi Kulu’ a success has come together yet another time for this movie.

Director R.K. Soorya Prakash who directed ‘Thaa’ has written a song ‘Kaadhal Enbadhai’ for his friend Sri Balaji. The remaining songs were written by Na. Muthu Kumar and V. Ilango.
