The trend of moving making to develop movies for screening in theaters is changing now. In the present scenario, the distribution of the movie should be changed to reach the audience. Latest technological advancements have forced the movie industry trend to change. After spending lots of money for a movie, distributors and producers have to sit and calculate profits after considering all ways of profits like T.V. rights and VCD rights.

Hollywood’s popular movie production company Warner Brothers is planning to test yet another distribution method for movies. The company is planning to distribute the movies through facebook social media website. As a first step towards this method, ‘The Dark Knight’ movie will be distributed via facebook. Facebook members of America can watch this movie online by paying three dollars.

This is just a test drive for the facebook screening of movies. If this trend becomes successful, Warner Brothers will release more movies on facebook. Otherwise, the method will be abandoned completely.
